After backpedaling to avoid three defenders and using a nifty pump-fake to get Ed "Too Tall" Jones off of his feet, Montana would find Clark in the back of the end zone for the game-winning touchdown. San Francisco would go on to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl XVI, giving Montana the first of his four Super Bowl rings.
