The LSU Tigers represent the NCAA Division I team of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Team colors include purple and yellow. The Tigers play within the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in the Western Division. Football and baseball have been the most popular sports on campus, followed by basketball. The Tigers football team has won 13 Conference titles and 3 National Championships, while producing 25 consensus All-Americans and 1 Heisman Trophy winner. The basketball team has dominated since the mid-2000s, attending 4 NCAA Tournaments in the last 6 years and reaching the Final Four in 2006. Lately, the LSU Tigers have been very successful on the baseball diamond, winning their 6th National Championship in 2009 and producing recognizable names in the MLB.
