Dan Wheldon (1978 - 2011) was the 2005 IndyCar Series champion, and the winner of the Indianapolis 500 in 2005 and 2011. He died from injuries sustained after a collision at the 2011 IZOD IndyCar World Championships at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 16, 2011 at the age of 33. He left behind a wife and 2 small children along with a large hole in the heart of the motorsports racing community. Mounted Memories will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these items to the Dan Wheldon Trust.
